Tue, February 21, 2012 I have a dog, and sometimes I forget to feed it for a few weeks. So, I should really get a bird to solve my problem. But then what if I forget to feed the bird? Oh, I know, i'll get another dog trained to feed the bird. It's flawless logic.

Fri, January 27, 2012 I hate/love these videos. I can't not watch them. Then I have to go wake up my dog and pet her until the fur starts falling out.
I get pretty emotional watching these videos. After this one, I nearly started having a period.

Mon, November 28, 2011 These 2 year old beagles have spent their entire life in cages while being used for research, and once the research ended, they were going to be killed. But they were rescued by a group called ARME, which is spelled wrong. Watch this video of the very first time they get to leave a cage and smell fresh air, and run and poop on fresh grass:
Look, I hate hippies as much as the next good red blooded American, but there are some things we just shouldn't do as a people. We need to treat animals a lot better than we do. Especially dogs. Even this animal i'm currently eating (chicken) probably had a life way more miserable than it should have. I can taste it's suffering and it tastes just ok. It would probably taste better if it was treated better in it's life, and I'd pay a little extra for that.
But dogs, cats, monkeys, and horses should be off limits. We have special relationships with them.
