My Name Is A Terrible Password
Mon, November 21, 2011 According to the internet news, the name "Michael" is a horrible password to use. I'm personally offended by this. When I hack into the personal accounts of friends and loved ones, I rarely try my own name first.

But hacking is a real problem, and according to a company called SplashData, here is the list of the 25 worst passwords to use:
1. password
2. 123456
3. 12345678
4. qwerty
5. abc123
6. monkey
7. 1234567
8. letmein
9. trustno1
10. dragon
11. baseball
12. 111111
13. iloveyou
14. master
15. sunshine
16. ashley
17. bailey
18. passw0rd
19. shadow
20. 123123
21. 654321
22. superman
23. qazwsx
24. michael
25. football
This list is very suspect to me. And since I just accessed SplashData's servers by using the password "SplashData," I don't believe they have any credibility. My staff and I here at the the MN Institute have compiled a more accurate list of terrible often used passwords. All of these are my former passwords:
1. kardashian
2. spelleng eror
3. shownakedladiesnow
4. mninstitute
5. (o Y o)
6. ( Y )
7. 8====D
8. 8====D~
9. 8====D~~~ (o Y o)
10. TeamEdward
11. KeithSweat
12. randomly hitting keys while drunk, nude and in a stranger's home you thought was yours before you crawled through a nursery window
So, the next time you try to hack into my computer, good luck, because unless you are looking at me typing, you'll never guess my password.

My password is "Michael."
